Under 11s on a roll!

Congratulations to Cameron who was Man Of The Match in Sunday's under 11's game against Yate United Colts! His excellent reading of the game, cover, getting in the right positions to meet the ball in the air and energy helped the under 11's win 5-3

After an shaky start by Central which saw them trail early 1-0 found it hard to get a hold of the game. But a shot on the half volley from Grace, on the edge of the box saw a good save by the Yate keeper brought them into life! A great individual run from the inform Sam A brought Central level at the break 1-1

Central started the second half the more brighter which saw them score 3 early goals and some good goals too along with some great passages of play also!!

Sam A raced away using his pace to get in the box to slot the ball home 2-1! Then an excellent strike from Jason who struck the ball from 30 yards to see it hit the back of the net 3-1 his first goal for Central!! Well done Jason!! Central were now in control and the momentum was with them! Some excellent link up play from Ramel who received the ball in the middle of the park, played it out wide to Damani. Ramel continued his run into the box, Damani beat his man out wide and with his cross on the right he found Ramel who slotted the ball home with a cool first time finish inside the box 4-1! Yate then pulled a goal back to make it 4-2. But with 10 mins to go a great cross on the right from Sam M, saw Yate clear the ball out of the box, the ball fell kindly to Jason who controlled it nicely who then hit a sweet shot on the half volley on the edge of the box. The ball glided through the air hitting the underside of the bar and went in the back of the net 5-2 to Central!! Yate then scored a late goal to make it 5-3. But with time running out Central saw game out to claim the victory 5-3!!!
